Pollination – Victoria Scott

**This is a pre-order product. Please see the pre-order FAQ and notes below**

Pollination is an act of radical preservation. In an era of rising authoritarianism and fascism, trans people’s lives are under increasing threat. In response, journalist and photographer Victoria Scott has created a graphic time capsule for future queer generations. Here she documents her community beyond the protest, capturing a living, breathing culture. She blends the candid and the posed, the intimate and the public — demonstrating the beautiful reality of her world and ours.

Each image is printed using slide film, with no digital alterations. In this way, Scott creates a deliberate artifact of truth to be treasured and protected.

Content guidance: Pollination is intended for an adult audience. It contains intimate and sexually explicit images, as well as nudity.

Limited edition:

The initial 100 copies of Pollination will each contain an original archival slide. These copies, scattered to the winds, will ensure that this record of queer joy and resistance is safe from attempts to completely destroy it. 10 copies from this run will be reserved for the Seed edition.

Standard edition:

Further copies (without slides) will further sow evidence of queer joy and resilience, ensuring the record can never be fully erased.

Seed edition:

Ten copies from the initial limited edition run (with slide), and ongoing standard edition copies will be distributed, as “Pay It Forward” funding allows, to those who would otherwise be unable to afford a copy.
